Our Academics
Learning at Marq follows the ICSE curriculum, early years right through to the senior grades. But ask what we are really focused on, and the answer is the particular child in front of us. Among schools in Kannamangala and Whitefield, that is the thing we have come to be known for. It rests on a simple idea. Understanding a child properly and teaching them well tends to look after itself.
PUPA is how that starts. Prior Understanding of Pupil's Attributes, if you want the full name. Before deciding how to teach a child, our teachers spend time learning what they are good at, what pulls their interest, how they tick. In the younger classes there is a two-main-teacher model too, so a child always has familiar, attentive faces close by rather than a cast that keeps changing.
Then the teaching grows up as your child does. Early Years lean on play. The Primary Years get the basics solid. By the Middle Years we are pushing children to ask their own questions, and in the Graduating Years the focus turns firmly to board exam preparation. Running through all of it is STEaM (AI Labs), which pulls Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths into one hands-on kind of learning, while Transition Blocks take the jolt out of moving between stages.
And nobody is left behind. When a child needs a little extra, the Individual Support Program (ISP) is there for exactly that, while CHAMPS and CRISP carry their growth well past the classroom. What you get in the end is an education that holds strong results and real curiosity together. One that readies a child not just for exams, but for that far bigger test called life.
