As part of its Community Integration and Social Initiatives Programme, Chrysalis High has undertaken various initiatives aimed at contributing to the well-being and development of communities, with a primary focus on children and their educational and developmental needs. Some of our initiatives include providing educational and infrastructural support to Government schools, facilitating volunteer-teaching and vocational activities, supporting organisations working towards the care and protection of children, and to extending relief assistance during natural disasters and emergencies.
1. Govt. Schools
Chrysalis High has adopted 4 Govt. schools- in Whitefield and Hoskote to provide Community Integration and Social Initiative’s support to these schools. The objective is simple- “to ensure every child deserves a dignified education”. Some of the support that Chrysalis High has provided to the Govt. schools are
Volunteer Teaching Support
As we know, India has an acute shortage of teachers especially in govt. schools where thousands and lakhs of teaching positions lie vacant due to unavailability of teachers or severely underqualified teachers. This has led to a “learning crisis” among children of lower and primary classes. Noticing the gap, Chrysalis High has pitched in to provide teaching volunteers to the 4 govt. Schools. Our Volunteers have been able to provide that additional learning support to the Govt. School students and have successfully improved the Foundational Literacy & Numeracy Levels(FLN) in the 4 govt. Schools

WASH Initiatives
The statistics say around 23% of adolescent girls in India drop-out by the time they reach adolescence. Reasons being due to lack of proper toilets and sanitation facilities most girl students do not use the school toilets or they control their urge to use the washrooms and in the process increase chances of getting diseases like UTI and gall bladder stones. Govt. Primary School, Immadihalli experienced the same issue of washrooms going defunct due to no water supply from local BBMP. Through Chrysalis High’s continued efforts now we are able to provide GPS, Immadihalli two water tankers per week so no girl child has to avoid or control her urge to use the washroom. This has led to reduced absenteeism among girl students and even among female teachers.
Vocational Support for Specially-Abled Children
Chrysalis High through CARE program which is our Inclusive Intervention Programme designed for children with special needs has provided training on “Functional Academics” to teachers of Sri Vivekananda Vidya Kendra, Hoskote for their specially abled students. Apart from the training, raw material support such as - candles and paper bags were also provided to them as part of vocational training support for paper bag making and candle making activities
2. World Cancer Day

3. Support to Non-profits Specialising in Children
